The ‘Ephemeral Echoes’ collection is a deeply personal exploration of the fleeting moments that shape our perception of the natural world. Each piece aims to capture the essence of these transient experiences, from the delicate dance of sunlight through leaves to the subtle shift in colors at twilight. I’ve employed a variety of techniques, including watercolor, ink, and mixed media, to convey the ephemeral quality of these moments. The collection reflects my ongoing fascination with the interplay between light, shadow, and texture, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty that exists in impermanence.
This collection represents a significant departure from my previous work, delving into more abstract and impressionistic styles. I’ve been experimenting with new color palettes and textures, pushing the boundaries of my artistic expression. The use of layering and blending techniques allows me to create depth and dimension, capturing the ethereal quality of the natural world. I hope that ‘Ephemeral Echoes’ resonates with viewers on a profound level, inspiring them to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
‘Ephemeral Echoes’ will be showcased at the upcoming ‘Art in Bloom’ exhibition at the City Gallery from October 27th to November 15th. I’ll be hosting an artist talk on November 5th, where I’ll discuss the inspiration and process behind the collection. I invite you to join me for an evening of art, conversation, and connection. I’m eager to share my vision with you and hear your interpretations of these ephemeral echoes.
