For my use of colors and the organization of the forms, I get inspired by real elements of our (consumer) society. Barcodes, headlines, commercial packaging, plates, etc. are not only my main source of inspiration, I let them play the leading role. Therefore I make good use of the mixed technique of collage and oil on canvas: although the collages (the elements) always occupy a small area of the canvas, I can emphasize their strength, and at the same time I can make them (subtle or not) integrate into the whole of the painting.
